The Consultation:
 Before this treatment is offered your clinician will explain and discuss with you how the system works, what to expect, and will listen to your skin care concerns. A program of treatments if appropriate will be offered to you and a complete medical history will be taken. The cost of the care will be explained and you will be given a consent form to read and sign before your sessions begin.
Micro-dermabrasion treatment
How Does it Work?
Micro-dermabrasion is the use of either corundum crystals or aluminum oxide crystals to lightly bombard the skin and exfoliate away the dull layer of stratum corneum on your skin. A slight vacuum is used to remove the exfoliated cells and oxide crystals simultaniously from your skin's surface.
Two Effects on Your Skin:
*Smooth, refreshed and gently buffed skin.
*After the crystals are abraised on the skin, your skin starts producing new and fresh cells more rapidly. It is an exciting way to awaken nature's rejuvenation within
your skin.

An Explanation of What to Expect
*You will first have your skin cleaned and toned with gentle care by our trained clinician.

*The micro-dermabrasion session will last approximately 1 hour for a full face treatment. You will first feel the crystal abrasion on the inner aspect of your arm, to assist you with acclamating yourself to the sensation of the procedure.

*A calming mask is applied to add hydration to your skin.

*A soothing moisturizer with SPF of 30 will then be applied.

*Follow up home care instructions for your skin type will be reviewed. Skin care products may be recommended to assist you with your goals. It is strongly advised that you arrive for your first session with your current skin care products so the clinician can review these products with you, and assist you with preventing skin irritation following the procedure.

*Your follow-up session will be scheduled and you should not experience any visible redness beyond the next morning.
